When I started Justin’s program, I had some pretty basic goals: increase my 1 rep max on the bench, squat, and deadlift exercises. Prior to this, I was experiencing a frustrating plateau of minimal to no gains that seemed to drag on for months.
I found the program both challenging and to be honest, surprising – it featured several exercises that I had neglected for a long time or had never attempted. But the results, week after week, were pretty significant. By the end of the program, I smashed my personal bests in each of the exercises – in the case of the squat and deadlift, gaining an upwards of 30 to 60lbs respectively. “I have been working out for the last six to seven years and I know when I have worked out in the past without a goal I always burn out and stop. Justin has created a few workout programs for me and with each one I have reached the goal I set out to achieve. I recently finished this twelve week program “Performance Driven Muscle.” My goal during this program was to increase my strength. I wanted to increase my one rep max on squats by at least 25 pounds. And increase my Bench press by at least 10 pounds. I increased my squat by 35 pounds and I increased my Bench Press by 15 pounds, and at the end of the 12 weeks I took one week off and felt even stronger then before starting the program.
